Bitta Karate who is known as Farooq Ahmed Dar is the chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front and a former terrorist. He lives in Jammu Kashmir. He was arrested by the Border Security Force on 22 June 1990 and was held in custody until 2006.

Bitta Karate is married. His wife’s name is Assbah Arzoomand Khan. He got married to her on 1 November 2011. They met first time 3 years ago at a friend’s house before getting married. 

When they met, after 5 months, Farooq proposed to her and he got a positive reply from Assbah. She was married to him against her family’s decision. Farooq’s wife completed her master’s degree in journalism in 1999 from Kashmir University. 

After being graduate, she started to work at the Agriculture University of Science and Technology. Currently, she works as a probation officer for the General Administration Department.

Bitta Karate aka Farooq Ahmed Dar was born in Srinagar, J&K, India. He took birth on 1 January 1973 which makes him 49 years old. He served as the chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front. 

He was arrested for the charges of murdering several Kashmiri Pandits during the time of migration of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s. He also acknowledged it. After, he claimed that he gave the statement under duress and he didn’t murder any Pandits. 

He served for terrorism-related charges from 1990 to 2006. He was again arrested in 2019 on charges of financing terrorism and plotting an insurgency against the federal government.

Bitta Karate was born to Fatima who is his mother. His father’s name is not known. His father used to run a business that was adopted by Bitta as a family business.
