What did Dwayne Yuen Do?:- Dwayne Yuen was a girls’ basketball coach at Punahou High School since the early 2000s. He has recently arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He has arrested on Thursday, February 2, for possession of child physical abuse material.
Dwayne is 49 years old, he was also accused of physically assaulting teenage players on the basketball team. The charges were settled out of court.
The FBI has also told potential victims to come forward. His identity will not be compromised and he may be called for further statements.

What did Dwayne Yuen Do?
Three underage student-athletes along with two anonymous victims came forward and pointed fingers at the UN for grooming and abusing them in 2020. There are Shawna-Lei Kuehu, Ilima-Lei McFarlane, Mahina McFarlane, and two unidentified women.
According to reports:
“Yuen was a physical predator who targeted and physicaly groomed underage female students attending Punahou School.”
They also reached an out-of-court settlement and the entire case was dismissed. This case settlement amount has not been revealed, and the school issued an apology.
The FBI officers recently arrested Dwayne Yuen at his home (Manoa) on federal charges related to the possession of child physical abuse material.”
According to a site:
“It is believed Yuen contacted his victims in person and via electronic communications, engaging in the illegal activity for years, as far back as 2004. Although Yuen resided on Oahu, he may have traveled to other islands and locations while coaching basketball throughout the years.”
Why was he arrested by the FBI
Many have been arrested by the FBI and taken into custody, photographed, and fingerprinted. And also efforts are often made to obtain a voluntary statement from the person arrested.
He has also been in FBI custody until an initial court appearance, which must occur without delay.
Speaking about the alleged assault of Dwayne Yuen, Acting Special Agent in Charge Floyd said that protecting “our children” is the FBI’s top priority.
He said:
“The alleged actions of Mr. Yuen are nothing short of disgraceful. Our investigation shows he abused the power of his position as a trusted community member to exploit the most vulnerable – our Keiki. Protecting our children and holding those who prey on them accountable is a top priority for the FBI. We will stop at nothing when investigating these heinous crimes.”
