Vince Russo Posting Shoot Interview With Chyna
It's also true that there are questionable legends in the WWE Hall of Fame. As has been pointed out, Jimmy Snuka has been the prime suspect in a murder for more than 30 years now. Bill Watts has had accusations of racism tossed at him at various times over the years, Sunny has taken nude pictures & videos in past that've been posted online, etc. I remember reading sometime last year a report stating that a new hiring policy had been past in WWE where people who've done nude photo shoots and/or done porn wouldn't be hired.
As far a Chyna's personal life goes, I just don't see how WWE can be blamed for poor decisions she's made over the past 15 years. I feel bad for her that she was done wrong by her man, but that's been over with for 15 years. People cheat, it supremely sucks if you're someone that's been cheated on, but that's something that shouldn't be used as a crutch to excuse a decade & a half of poor personal choices. In my job, I hear men making excuses all the time about why they did the things they've done and it just bugs the crap out of me. I get that some people have gone through rough times, but who hasn't? I also get that such times can have an impact on your life but ultimately, you're the one that has to make the choice, whether beneficial or hurtful.
While I don't think that this should really be a genuine excuse for not putting her in the HOF, as has been alluded to by another poster, I imagine the situation would be awkward as hell. Every so often, usually ever few years or so, the subject of Chyna being in the HOF is brought up in an interview or something and all these negative feelings towards Triple H & Stephanie or WWE in general start pouring out of her. Maybe if she at least acted like it was all in the past, that she's over it, MAYBE that'd get the ball rolling towards a HOF induction.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm expecting a HOF inductee to go off the reservation during their speech. I have no idea who or when it will be of course, but I have this feeling that somebody will crucify WWE or someone specific from the company at least. Before they get cut off the mic and escorted out, they'll have at least had some time to get some bashing in.
