Clare Craig grew up in Manchester. After finishing college, she started working in the sports management industry and quickly rose through the ranks. Her hard work and dedication eventually led her to Hambric Sports Management, where she became the vice president of Europe.

It was during her time at Hambric Sports Management that Clare first met Tommy Fleetwood. She was working with him as his agent, and over time, the two became close friends. They shared a love for golf and a deep respect for each other’s work ethic and dedication.

The Relationship with Tommy Fleetwood

Over time, their relationship grew from professional to personal, and Clare and Tommy fell in love. Clare became Tommy’s manager, and together they embarked on a journey to see Tommy rise to the top of the golfing world.

Clare has been a constant presence in Tommy’s life, supporting him through the ups and downs of his career. In 2016, when Tommy was ranked 188th in the world, Clare was there to remind him of his talent and to help him get back on track.

Together, they worked tirelessly to improve his game, and in 2017, Tommy won the Open de France, thanks in no small part to Clare’s support and guidance.

Marriage and Family

Tommy and Clare got married in the Bahamas in December 2017. It was a small, intimate ceremony, with only close family and friends in attendance. Their son, Franklin Fleetwood, was born just a few months later, in September 2017. However, Clare has also two sons from her previous marriage. 

Franklin’s birth was a life-changing moment for Tommy and Clare. Tommy withdrew from the British Masters so that he could be there for the birth of his son, and it was a decision that he never regretted. Franklin has become a central figure in Tommy and Clare’s lives, and they love nothing more than spending time together as a family.

Supporting Tommy on Tour

Clare is a familiar face on the European Tour, attending almost every tournament that Tommy plays in. She is a constant source of support and encouragement for her husband, and her presence at games helps Tommy to stay focused and motivated.

During the 2018 Ryder Cup, Clare was in attendance as Tommy produced an excellent performance that helped Europe to victory. Alongside his partner Francesco Molinari, Tommy was undefeated as a pair, winning four points from five matches.

The bromance between Tommy and Francesco became known as Moliwood, and the pair even released a hilarious video of themselves lying in bed with the Ryder Cup.

Clare’s reaction to the video was classic, with her tweeting

“Well, I actually caught my husband in bed with another man, and he wants Italian lessons, our son is also named after him. Do I need to worry?”

It was a humorous moment that showed the close bond between Tommy, Clare, and Francesco.

Taylor Moore Wins Maiden PGA Title at Valspar Championship, Leaving Tommy Fleetwood in Second Place

Taylor Moore secured his first-ever PGA Tour win at the Valspar Championship, leaving behind the likes of Tommy Fleetwood, Jordan Spieth, and Sam Burns. This event took place at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida, where golfers put their best foot forward to take home the prestigious title.

The Valspar Championship had some of the biggest names in golf participating, with Fleetwood and Spieth being two of the most popular players. However, it was Moore who emerged as the champion, much to the surprise of many golfing enthusiasts.

Fleetwood, who has been close to winning his first PGA Tour title on several occasions, once again fell short. The Englishman played well throughout the tournament but couldn’t quite get over the line. He finished tied for third alongside Spieth, one stroke behind Schenk.
