This recognition for “Calm Down” is a celebration of harmony and Afrobeats’ dominance over the world music scene. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Josie Ward, Mavin Records, Selena Gomez, and all of our incredible fans who have helped us get this far. I would like to express my gratitude to Billboard for everything.

Hi, Billboard! Thank you, guys, for this award. This is honestly what Rema’s doing. He picked me to sing such a wonderful song. I want to thank him and all of you for watching and listening, and I wish we could have been there. But thank you!

The singer of Single Soon won after spending time out and about with her best friend Taylor Swift prior to leaving for her Eras Tour stop in South America.

Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, Brittany Mahomes, and the singer of Cruel Summer were spotted with Selena Gomez during a girls’ night out earlier this month.

The Anti-Hero singer’s friendship with Mahomes is developing as her romance with Travis Kelce intensifies, coinciding with the girls’ night out.

How the song Calm Down changed the life of Rema

With the release of his hit song “Calm Down,” which features Selena Gomez, Nigerian music sensation Rema—also known as Divine Ikubor—has achieved a significant milestone.

As the first-ever song to stay at the top of the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart for a full year, the song has created history.

The American data collection company Chart Data formally announced this news on Monday.

“Calm Down” has held the number one position on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart for 52 weeks running.

The song’s broad appeal was highlighted when it shot to the top of the Canadian Top Songs chart, despite only holding the third spot on the coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart.
