Recap

In the previous chapter of Second Life of a Trash Princess, Regina finally catches up with Theo, who had been lured out of the castle by a very suspicious maid. She apprehends the maid, but something unexpected happens. The maid’s eyes begin glowing a weird red color, and Regina freezes up when she sees that.

She could instantly recognize the person who was pulling the strings behind the scenes. It was the antagonist of the series, Anita, who had orchestrated everything. Of course, there was no way Regina would forget those eyes of that evil witch, and Anita was pretty satisfied mocking Regina.

She says that Regina was intelligent, considering she was the descendant of ‘that’ person. She was pretty enthusiastic in telling Regina that no matter how hard she tried, all that she would get was her doom. Arthur tries to contain the maid’s body that was projecting Anita, but she goes limp after suddenly dying.

Regina is definitely disturbed by what happened and asks Arthur to send the body to the Imperial Palace for further investigation. She then tells Theor that they can talk on their way and says he can follow her since he would not back off and go back even if she told him to.

However, Theor acted weirdly dejected and said he would just go back to the Palace. Regina is a bit surprised by that unexpected reaction, and she tries to scold him for doing something this dangerous and stupid. Theor just says that he needed some fresh air, and that was why he came out in the first place.

He then tells Regina that she shouldn’t concern herself with him since he is not needed anyway. That was pretty shocking because Regina finally realized she had been treating Theor all wrong. She finally recognizes her mistake and stops Theor just to apologize to him first.
