JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Kawasaki Ninja 250R pertama kali dijual bebas pada 2008. Motor ini jadi pionir motor sport 250cc dua silinder di Indonesia dan cukup mendapat tempat di hati bikers.
Ninja 250R dengan kode EX250J eksis selama empat tahun mulai dari 2008 sampai 2012. Tahun berikutnya pada 2013 Kawasaki melansir Ninja 250Fi dengan tampang baru disertai pengabutan injeksi.
Meski sudah berumur 10 tahun, Ninja 250R rupanya masih dicari oleh pengemar motor kencang. Harga jualnya pun relatif stabil untuk ukuran motor yang sudah berumur satu dekade.

Penelurusan Kompas.com di beberapa situs jual beli online, yang banyak memajang Ninja 250R seken, Ninja model tahun 2008 harga Ninja 250R masih berkisar antara Rp 28 juta sampai Rp 29 juta.
Adapun model 2009 sekitar Rp 2 juta lebih mahal yakni antara Rp 30 juta sampai Rp 32 juta. Begitu seterusnya sampai model 2012. Khusus model 2012 pun cukup tinggi bisa tembus Rp 37 juta.
Sebagai pionir di kelasnya, di zamannya, keunggulan Ninja 250R ialah suara khas dua silindernya yang berbeda dengan yang masih satu silinder. Mesinnya pun mampu menghasilkan 30 tk dan torsi 20 Nm.
Tapi bicara mesin, performa Ninja EX250J sebetulnya turun dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya yakni Ninja ZZR-250 dengan kode EX250H pada 1991. Motor yang secara desain mirip Ninja ZX-11 itu menghasilkan 37 tk.
