Tuesday’s terrible events started outside of Dunnellon when Samantha Brown was tragically killed in a three-vehicle collision.

During the tragic incident, nine other people were able to escape the wreckage with only minor injuries.

Along a portion of County Road 484, where two pickup trucks and a sport utility vehicle were involved in the crash, there was a noticeable disturbance to traffic flow.

One person was detained by law authorities, but not because they were responsible for the two-lane road accident.

The collision happened at CR 484 and Southwest 134th Court.

A woman named Samantha Brown perished in the terrible collision on Tuesday between a GMC Denali pickup truck, a GMC Sierra pickup truck, and a Chevy Equinox, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) officials.

The following is how things went down in order: Along CR 484, the GMC Denali and Sierra were both heading east, with the Denali trailing the Sierra. At the same time, the Chevy Equinox was driving west on CR 484.

According to reports, the driver of the Equinox veered over the center line and made a side swipe collision with the Sierra. The SUV then struck the Denali squarely before coming to a stop.

The extent to which speed had a role in the collision is still unknown, and the scene was dark at the time of the unfortunate event.
