Ross’ Restaurant closing its doors February 12

A longtime Quad Cities restaurant is closing its doors.

In a Facebook post, the owners of Ross’ Family Restaurant announced the final day of operations at the location at 2297 Falcon Drive in Bettendorf.

“Our last official day of business will be on February 12th,” the post reads. “We would like to sincerely thank the millions of customers who have visited us over the years, some of you are a part of our daily routine and we will miss you all dearly.”

The restaurant was a must-stop for celebrities and politicians seeking office over the years, but the staff focused more on their daily customers. “Dear customers, YOU ALL are the true MVP’s! Please know how much you have meant to our family and staff over the years,” the post said.

In honor of the late Harold Ross, the restaurant will be offering customer appreciation specials during the last weeks of operation. They are open daily from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The post concludes on an optimistic note. “We WILL open some classic Ross’ location(s) within the next few years, so it’s NOT goodbye, it’s ‘see you later’.”
