RIMSD #41 Winter Bash and Resource Fair shares options for families, community

The Rock Island-Milan School District invites parents, families and the public to their fifth annual Winter Wonderland Resource Fair on Friday, February 16 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Rock Island High School, 1400 25th Avenue.

Over 38 different district and community resources will have representatives at the fair to answer questions parents and community members may have.

Resource representatives include:

• Black Hawk College
• NEST Café
• School Health Link
• Spring Forward
• MetroLink
• Unity Point Health
• World Relief
• And more.

Attendees can find information on job opportunities for parents, college/ career readiness, college preparation, financial wellness, home ownership, mental/emotional/physical wellness, assessments for / PSAT / SAT / FAFSA and more. There will also be refreshments and giveaways.
