Randy Teall Death; Man shot and killed outside Everett home identified
The identity of the guy who was shot and murdered last week outside a north Everett home has been released.
A lady reported a weapon-assisted assault in the 2000 block of 26th Street at around three in the morning on November 22.
The woman claimed to have seen Randy Teall and 37-year-old Robert Hamilton fight outside the front porch of the home she was sleeping at. According to a police report, Hamilton gave Tedall, 51, a shove that was strong enough to push him through a fence, causing Hamilton to fall on top of him.
Grabbing a baseball bat, the woman struck Hamilton to pull him off Teall. Police said she heard a gunshot. When the police arrived, Teall was standing on the road close to Hamilton, who had been shot in the chest, detectives wrote. At the scene, Hamilton passed away.
After identifying Hamilton on Tuesday, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office concluded that he had died from a gunshot wound. The two were apparently acquainted, as per the prosecution. The police report did not specify their precise relationship.
For a second-degree murder inquiry, police detained 51-year-old Teall. On Monday, a judge ordered bond at $200,000.
Teall was still being held at the Snohomish County Jail on Tuesday afternoon.
