Power Book II: Ghost is an American television series created by Courtney A. Kemp, which premiered on September 6, 2020 on Starz. The series is both a direct sequel and a spin-off to Power. The Power line is getting better and better.
So far, Tariq’s plan to “get out of the game forever” has not gone as planned. Season 3 is full of gunfights and betrayals, and that’s just the end! Now that the third season is over, everyone is looking at season 4. Michael Ealy (Bel-Air) has been cast in an important new part as the leader of an elite anti-drug task force.

Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 Release Date
According to many sources, Power Book II: Ghost season 4 still has no official release date. The only thing we know for now is that season 4 has been renewed.. Fans won’t have to wait as long for season 4 as season 3, according to series star Rainey Jr. He said that while production on the cast is underway, there will be “something to look forward to after season three is over”. He further explained, “And hopefully, hopefully, the wait for season 4 won’t be as long as the wait for season 3.
Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 Cast – Who Will Return?
There’s been very little casting news for the next season, but Rainey Jr. may return as Tariq.
Fans will recognize Michael Ealy from his parts in Barbershop, Think Like a Man, The Perfect Guy, and more recently the Netflix show The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window. He will also join the cast for season 4. Detective Don Carter, a regular part of the show, has been assigned to Ealy.
Variety said the new character is “a rising NYPD officer” whose wife was killed in a shootout between two rival drug cartels. This prevented him from becoming a police commissioner.
Vowing to make the streets safer, Carter traded his tie for a kevlar vest and now leads an elite NYPD drug-fighting task force to produce concrete results against drug-related violence. Although his achievements are notable for the public recognition, nothing can regain his lost love.”
After Lorenzo Tejada Sr. (Berto Colon) is killed by Gordo Castillo (Eric Hernandez), at the behest of his wife Lorenzo Monet (Mary J. Blige), he won’t return in season 4. Why? Well, she finally finds out that her husband mistakenly killed her son Zeke in episode 2 when he thought he was Monet Mecca’s (Daniel Sunjata) ex-boyfriend.

Power Book II: The Story of Ghost Season 4
While we don’t know much about Tariq’s opponents in the show’s next season, Ealy’s casting is a big hint.
Based on what we know about Detective Don Carter and his grudge, we can assume he will become a pain in the ass for Tariq as he leads the NYPD’s top drug task force. It is expected to clash with Tariq and his shady business, which could put the entire operation at risk of bankruptcy.
We can expect more impact from Lorenzo’s sudden death in other seasons of the show. As the seasons passed, Tariq became more and more like his father. Also, there’s always the possibility that someone else from the Power Book world will show up.
