Peeing on the floor | Dementia Support Forum

I don't know if this issue has been raised by anyone else before. My partner has always sat down to pee since I've known him but now very often he's not sitting properly on the toilet and ends up peeing on the floor. I now have to follow him to the toilet all the time and try to make sure he sits properly, trouble is he's often too confused to understand what I'm talking about or I'm too late and he's started before I can get him sat properly.
Does anyone have any ideas? Should we get a toilet frame or something to raise the height of the toilet, I don't know if that would help though. Thanks.
