Paloma Aguilar left Big Brother Season 24 before the first eviction for what reason? Cause investigated

Before Thursday’s first live eviction broadcast of Big Brother Season 24, fans were in for a big surprise. The medical reasons for Paloma Aguilar’s removal from the residence were highlighted in tonight’s episode.

Paloma revealed that she suffered from anxiety and couldn’t sleep for more than 2-4 hours per night about 30 minutes into the Big Brother broadcast. She was heard revealing to Matt Turner that she might leave the program due to mental health problems. She revealed to the other house guests that she had trouble sleeping, which worried them about her mental health.

On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, the season debut of Big Brother Season 24 aired, with longstanding presenter Julie Chen Moonves welcoming 16 houseguests to the villa. Fans have expressed dissatisfaction with this season in particular owing to the tedious schedule and treatment of competitor Taylor Hale, who is a fan favorite.

Paloma Aguilar, a competitor in Big Brother’s 24th season, leaves the program to focus on her mental health

Terrance Higgins and Michael Bruner were initially put forward for eviction as per the standard procedure by HoH Daniel Durston. However, Daniel proposed Taylor Hale as the “replacement nominee” when Michael prevailed in the Power of Veto (PoV) challenge.

During the season premiere, Joe Pooch Pucciarelli, the backstage manager, also selected Paloma Aguilar, Brittany Hoopes, and Alyssa Snider, who were equally at risk of being eliminated.

But it was later reported that Paloma was leaving the program after she opened out in the diary room about her health problems and anxieties. HoH Daniel called the other cast members to a meeting for the big news reveal as she entered the diary room. He stated:

Paloma will no longer be participating in the Big Brother game due to a personal issue. She wanted to let you know how much she loves you all and how much she hopes the best for you.

Host Julie Chen Moonves revealed that because Paloma was already nominated and potentially leaving the house, her departure would mean that none of the other cast members would be leaving while the rest of the Big Brother cast worried about how it would impact the final decision and what lay ahead for each of the nominated members.

Paloma’s removal from the feed streams generated a lot of discussion on social media. She reportedly entered the diary room early on Wednesday and hasn’t been seen since.

It has happened before when a house guest had to leave for personal or medical reasons. Neil Garcia left the program in Season 9 due to unidentified personal news. In Season 8, “Evel Dick” Donato also departed the program and later disclosed that he had been diagnosed with HIV. Megan Lowder left more recently, in Season 19, after experiencing PTSD and anxiety.

Paloma has faced a lot of backlash on social media for her treatment of participant Taylor Hale since the season opener. Taylor had been referred to as a “seductress” and as having “lack of self-awareness” by the former. In addition, Taylor was the target of numerous microaggressions, many of which Paloma encouraged.

Numerous Big Brother alumni, such as Xavier Prather, Tiffany Mitchell, Derek Frazier, Azah Awasum, and others, denounced the network and spoke out against the cruelty, which was repeated by viewers of the program.
