Omega Strikers: The Best Era Builds (Forward & Goalie)

Quick Links

Similar to how Atlas serves as the best supportive Goalie in Omega Strikers, Era could be considered the best Forward support thanks to her magical capabilities as an Empowering Enchanter. Suitable for both Forward and Goalie play, Era is slightly more effective on-field because of her Secondary Ability: Flutter Fly, which grants nearby allies a 40% increase in movement speed for roughly 2 seconds. However, since this build’s status effect in Omega Strikers is triggered via an AoE around her body, staying continually near the goal limits its range. As a result, the buff’s practicality in matches is reduced.

Nevertheless, Era’s Primary and Special Abilities are still sufficient to make her a viable Goalie in Omega Strikers. When defending the team’s goal, landing skill shots and maintaining proper positioning is essential for the empowering enchantress. The same two elements apply to Era’s Forward play as well. For example, launching Magic Maelstrom at an inopportune moment will render the storm useless, and firing Bewitching Beam only at the Core is considered a rookie mistake.

When playing as Era in Omega Strikers, users must always focus on how they can zone their opponents. Magic Maelstrom should never be used to simply block the Core but as a barrier that can potentially stun and knock enemies out of the arena. Bewitching Beam can be used to slow the Core but should primarily be utilized to buff aggressive team compsor opponents like Juliette or X in Omega Strikers. Finally, knowing when to activate Flutter Fly is crucial, as its lengthy cooldown does not enable the ability to be spammed throughout a match.

Best Forward Build for Era

With the strategies above in mind, Era users playing as a Forward Striker should always take Super Surge and Cast to Last to ensure her other on-field ally retains Flutter Fly’s buff for as long as possible. While the third Training is quite flexible, the YouTube channel ZakWylder recommends the following:

Additionally, Super Surge appears again here to ensure that Era’s Haste buff is as effective as possible.
