Nydia Leger Obituary-Death News; High School Teacher, Resident Of Fitchburg, Nydia Leger Passed Away

Teacher Nydia Leger of Fitchburg High School, mother of Arianna, and a loving wife to her husband Tyler, passed away. Today, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, Fitchburg Public Schools confirmed the death of Nydia Leger, a citizen of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. As of the time of publication, Nydia Leger’s cause of death was unknown.

Nydia Leger passed away suddenly, a tragedy that shocked and hurt her friends, family, and the entire community of Fitchburg High School. We would like to provide Nydia Leger’s friends and family the space, privacy, and support they require to aid in their healing. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

Nydia Leger taught ninth- and tenth-graders. She was a devoted teacher in the Gardner and Fitchburg school systems, a loving mother to Arianna, and a loving wife to Tyler.

She had the good fortune to have her devoted spouse and daughter provide support during her illustrious academic career. As the new school year drew near, she started her first year of teaching seventh grade English Language Arts.

She loves college football and New England sports, and her family does too. Their favourite things to do include travelling, going to sporting events, swimming, visiting Maine, and spending time with friends and family.

Nydia holds a business administration bachelor’s degree. Working in the business world made her see she wasn’t cut out for it. She felt that something was lacking even though it came naturally to her to engage professionally with clients and coworkers and to give exceptional customer service.

She took advantage of a school district’s creation of a special education office. After four years of working in the field of education, connecting with amazing teachers, and learning about every facet of what takes place in a school, she was inspired.

Nydia thought about her possibilities and started preparing for her MTELs with her daughter and husband’s assistance. Nydia is licenced in English 5-8 provisionally.
