Throughout his career, Goh has been involved in various publicly traded businesses, including United EnviroTech, Harvey Norman Ossia, and Ossia International. In 1982, Goh established DeClassici Shoe Manufacturer in a factory on Bartley Road, where he produced approximately 30 pairs of leather shoes every month. Goh is currently serving as the group chairman of Ossia International Limited, a company he co-founded in 1990. In 1996, Ossia became a publicly traded company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Later that year, Ossia introduced its land division, Ossia Land. In the following year, Goh partnered with Ossia Land, as well as Waterbank Properties, NatSteel Properties, and the LSE-listed company Regalion Properties. In 1999, Goh and Gerry Harvey, the global retailer of Harvey Norman, established a joint venture known as Harvey Norman Ossia (Asia) with an investment of S$33 million, aiming to promote the Harvey Norman brand in Asia. In 2003, Goh co-founded United EnviroTech, a company specializing in wastewater treatment.
In June 2023, Goh was appointed as Singapore’s non-resident ambassador to Morocco by then-President Tony Tan. Subsequently, he resigned from his position on June 9, 2023, to run for the presidential election that year.
