What Led To Nazeri Lajim’s Arrest? Dates of Execution and Hanging

With two narcotics packages in his possession, Nazeri was captured. They were ultimately charged with trafficking more than 15g of heroin, which carries a death penalty.

The father of the drug trafficking family lost his job as an army administrator in the 1970s when the British forces left Singapore, and he went from leading a luxury life to one of abject poverty. Nazeri and Nazira’s father passed away when they were teenagers.

Nazita, his sister, recalled how challenging life was at home. Their housewife mother was compelled to take on many jobs because she was suddenly left to care for nine children by herself.
