Michele Tafoya is an American freelance sports journalist She is known for working at  NBC Sports as a sideline reporter for NBC Sunday Night Football from 2011-2022. She previously worked at CBS Sports as a reporter and hosted CBS Sports Spectacular, a  sports anthology show, and also covered college basketball.

Tafoya’s illustrious journalism career is marked by a rich tapestry of experiences that have solidified her reputation as a versatile and accomplished professional in the field. Her journey began as a radio host and reporter for KFAN-AM, where she lent her voice to coverage of the Minnesota Vikings and University of Minnesota women’s basketball broadcasts. After five fruitful years at CBS, Michele Tafoya transitioned to ABC Sports and ESPN in 2000, where she continued to leave her mark. Her role as the sideline reporter for ESPN Monday Night Football during the 2004 and 2005 NFL seasons, as well as the 2006 NFL season, made her a familiar and trusted presence on the football field.

Beyond her work on the field, Tafoya showcased her versatility by co-hosting the Mike Tirico Show on ESPN radio, further expanding her influence in the sports broadcasting world.
