Michael Daly Obituary: Michael Daly unexpectedly passed away. The official date of his death was Sunday, November 26, 2023. After hearing of his untimely demise, he left behind many broken hearts. All of us who had the pleasure of getting to know him during his life will always miss him.

It is with deep regret that the department announces the passing of FF Michael W. Daly, Ladder Company 87, who succumbed to his WTC illness on Saturday, November 25th, 2023. FF Daly served our great department for 9 years. He is survived by his wife, Jessica; his children, Mason, Madison and Logan; as well as several extended family members and friends.

Who was Michael Daly?

Michael Daly worked for the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) as a firefighter. He went to high school at Chelsea Career and Technical Education. His high school was Franklin Delano Roosevelt, as well. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he then relocated to Staten Island, New York, where he resided until the end of his life.
