Singer Marie Osmond’s recent appearance on Fox’s Fantasy Island has fans speculating she’s had plastic surgery – but she’s only confessed once.

Fantasy Island is back for season 2, meaning those residing at the luxury resort will explore their wildest dreams once again. Roselyn Sanchez returns as Elena Roarke, the grand-niece of Mr Roarke, the character from the original 1970s series.
Roarke is joined by a country music star, Shay, in episode 8, but it’s not just another actor portraying the role. Fox has tapped a real country star: Marie Osmond.
The episode, titled Walk A Country Mile, follows a singer with writer’s block. On Fantasy Island, Shay imagines being anonymous in order to finish her next album. Meanwhile, her assistant, Beau (Tyler Perez), wishes to escape his job as a celebrity’s right-hand man.
Lo and behold, that’s exactly what goes down as Shay finds herself as a nobody, while Beau is the prestigious guest.
Fantasy Island is Osmond’s first acting role in two years and with her return to the screen, viewers are speculating the singer had plastic surgery.
Marie Osmond’s Fantasy Island role prompts plastic surgery rumors
Osmond looked every inch the country star in her wide-brimmed hat and loud cheetah-print jacket, but it didn’t stop fans from commenting on her new look.
The singer, 63, has always had prominent cheekbones and smooth skin, but viewers are convinced she underwent surgery. Rumors have circulated since at least October 2022, but her Fantasy Island role has added to the discussion.
Some have even compared her to Madonna, who has been the subject of plastic surgery rumors for months, particularly after her Grammys 2023 appearance.
“I loved Marie Osmond when I was younger,” one said on Instagram. “I never missed their show and had Donnie and Marie Osmond barbie dolls. She is now, sadly, in the Madonna category.”
A second person added: “I don’t know about anyone else but to me, that did NOT look like Marie to me! I feel like someone else was put in that role!”

Marie Osmond has gone under the knife – but it wasn’t for her face
The mother of eight has never commented on the plastic surgery gossip, though Osmond confessed to one operation: breast reduction.
She opened up on a 2013 episode of The Talk, which she previously hosted.
“I had very large breasts,” the country star said. “I had a breast reduction. I was my mother’s daughter. I was like, twenty-something [years old]. When I did Sound of Music, all they did was talk about the hills were alive! That’s all they saw were my boobs. I was like an E cup.”
The Paper Roses singer opted for the procedure after years of back pains.
