By the end of Love Island USA season 5, episode 23, some islanders were heartbroken, and others were confused about what Casa Amor coupling decision they’d make. Keenan Anunay, Leonardo Dioniccio, Carston “Bergie” Bergersen, Jonah Allman, and Mike Stark have all made connections during the Casa Amor episodes. However, Keenan and Leo also have connections with islanders Vickala “Kay Kay” Gray and Kassy Castillo, who have been at Casa Amor for the week.

Meanwhile, Kay Kay has remained pretty loyal to Keenan, barely getting to know anyone else and only kissing the male bombshells during games. Kassy has been getting to know Matia Marcantuoni but has still remained respectful of Leo and hasn’t gone too far with him. The only other female islanders to get to know a guy is Imani Wheeler, who is single, and Destiny Davis, who is basically single. Unfortunately, the other islanders are bound to hurt feelings, and they already did in the latest episode.

Love Island USA season 5, episode 23 began with the islanders in the villa and Casa Amor choosing who should go to the hideaway. At the villa, they sent Bergie and Taylor Smith, and at Casa Amor, they sent Destiny and Isiah “Zay” Harayda. Unfortunately, Destiny fell asleep in the hideaway bed before she and Zay had a chance to have any fun. Meanwhile, Leonardo admitted he misses Kassy, but shortly after, Johnnie Garcia told Taylor Chemlka that she and Leo had sex the night before.

Leo was a little regretful of his decision since he wasn’t sure if he wants to bring Johnnie back to the villa or stick with Kassy, while Marco Donatelli completely disapproved of Leo’s behavior and called him out in his confessional for going back and forth between Kassy and various other women at the villa. At Casa Amor, Kassy struggled with her feelings for Matia and Leo, and later Keenan discussed his feelings for Najah Fleary with her.

Jonah also continued getting to know Taylor C while Carmen Kocourek told Robert “Rob” Rausch she still has deep feelings for Kenzo Ludo, and she doesn’t know if she and Rob would be a good match outside of Love Island USA. Back at the villa, Marco and Keenan gossiped about Leo and Johnnie and how Leo had taken off the bracelet that Kassy gave him. Keenan admitted he would be angry if Kay Kay brought back a man while he debated whether or not he should bring back Najah.

The most shocking part of the Love Island USA episode came at the end when Carmen received a video montage of things that had been going on at the villa. Kay Kay was distraught watching Keenan and Najah get to know each other, especially in the video of them cuddling together in bed. She broke down crying, and the other girls had to console her and tell her it was time to let Keenan go. Meanwhile, Hannah was less concerned with the clips of Marco and his ex and more worried about Kay Kay’s feelings.

Kassy was suspicious of the clip of Johnnie talking about having sex with one of the islanders as she thought Johnnie looked like Leo’s type. She admitted if it was Leo, she would immediately end things with him. However, the other female Love Island USA contestants didn’t believe that Johnnie was talking about Leo, and she took their word for it.
