Kevin Nash was born on July 9, 1959 in southwest Detroit, Michigan, into a devout Christian family. He is an American national and of American-White ethnicity. Robert Nash (who died April 4, 1968) and Wanda Nash (who died December 27, 1994) are his parents. When he was only eight years old, his father died of a heart attack at the age of 36. His mother dies after a four-year battle with breast cancer. He is the only child of his parents. Cancer is his zodiac sign, based on his birth date.
Kevin Nash attended Aquinas High School for his academic background. He was named the second best prep basketball player at Michigan during his senior year of high school. Kevin then attended the University of Tennessee where he majored in psychology and minored in educational philosophy.
