Kayla Crespin, a Stockton, California native and member of the San Joaquin Delta College water polo team, lost away tragically. At the age of 18, she passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, shocking her friends, family, and the entire school.
The Delta College Athletics post that read, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Crespin Family and our women’s water polo team during this difficult time,” verified her death. It is unknown what specifically caused Kayla Crespin to pass away.
Even at the young age of 18, Kayla has already had a lasting influence on the history of athletics at her school—and not just because of her exceptional physical prowess.
