Jimmy Lai serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Lai has served as the chief financial officer of China Online Education Group, an NYSE-listed company and an online English language education services provider in China, from June 2015 to December 2018. In addition to his role at China Online Education, Mr. Lai serves as an independent director on the board of directors of PPDAI Group Inc., an NYSE-listed company and an online consumer finance provider in China. Prior to joining China Online Education Group, Mr. Lai served as the chief financial officer of Chukong Technologies Corp., a mobile entertainment platform company in China, from 2013 to 2015. Mr. Lai served as the chief financial officer of Gamewave Corporation, a webgame company in China, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Lai served as the chief financial officer of Daqo New Energy Corp., an NYSE-listed company and a polysilicon manufacturer based in China, from 2009 to 2011.
