Frank was born in Covina, California on September 4, 1973, American actor and mixed martial artist Jason David Frank. He gained fame as a performer for his portrayal of Tommy Oliver in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and other Power Rangers television series. Due to the character’s popularity, he was reinstated as the White Ranger and the new team leader. The following year, his persona in Power Rangers Turbo became the first Red Turbo Ranger. Frank’s Tommy Oliver was first portrayed as a villain in the first season after being brainwashed by the wicked Rita Repulsa. But soon after, he was welcomed into the squad as the Green Ranger and became one of the program’s most well-known and adored characters.

Personal life

He married his first wife, with whom he had two sons and a daughter. In 2001, they got divorced. He married Tammie, his second spouse, in 2003; they had a daughter. Tammie filed for divorce in 2022. On November 19, 2022, Frank passed away in Texas at 49 by suicide.
