I would suggest you use gentle, sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners on your hair, combined with using a mix of Jojoba Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil on your scalp before shampooing your hair.
Add 3-5 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil to every 10ml of Jojoba Oil, shake/mix well and add to your scalp
Massage well into your scalp and leave for approx an hour before shampooing your hair with a gentle shampoo.

Shampoo caused clogged hair follicles, help?
Hi! I got a new shampoo and used it without thinking twice. I noticed it was very foamy which I thought was nice. I have long thick waist length hair, and after using the shampoo I noticed it starting to shed. This was very out of the norm for me as my hair very rarely sheds. It continuted shedding, and my scalp was dry and flaking. I looked up online and it said that shampoos containing Sodium Loral Sulfacatate can cause it. Sure enough the shampoo had the ingredient in it. What it does is make the shampoo foamy to trick the person to think they’;re getting a better clean, but it’s really horrible for your hair. My hair follicles have been either damaged or are blocked off from this crap, because my hair is continuing to shed and it has been four days since I last washed it (with a different shampoo) and it is not the SLIGHTEST bit greasy meaning the follicles are not producing. How do I unclog and repair them please help. I’ve heard of olive oil, lavender oil, and various other things. What actually works??

This is usually caused by the scalp overproducing oil to compensate for its dryness.
I would suggest you use gentle, sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners on your hair, combined with using a mix of Jojoba Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil on your scalp before shampooing your hair.
Add 3-5 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil to every 10ml of Jojoba Oil, shake/mix well and add to your scalp
Massage well into your scalp and leave for approx an hour before shampooing your hair with a gentle shampoo.

An outstanding question in dermatology that researchers have studied for decades is: How do hair follicles emerge from a sea of seemingly uniform skin cells during embryonic development? New research findings from a Yale-led team offer answers to that question, which may lead to strategies for regenerating lost hair follicles in adults.
To gain insight into early hair follicle development, the research team combined the study of genetically engineered mouse models with single-cell RNA methods to examine the molecular and cellular events that occur prior to visible evidence of hair follicle formation — a process that was nearly impossible to decode by conventional methods.
Using this combined approach, the research team was able to predict and validate key molecular changes that occur within a subpopulation of dermal progenitor cells as they differentiate and mature into cells uniquely capable of inducing hair follicles. The scientists found that these dermal progenitor cells can be found spatially within a specific reservoir just peripheral to the forming hair follicle.
