Herbert Calahan Car Accident: At around 9:05 p.m. on Friday, a terrible car accident on Noel C. Conway Road in front of South Effingham High School claimed the life of a 68-year-old man.
Pedestrians and RVs were both involved in the collision. Herbert Calahan has been named as the victim. According to sources, Guyton resident Herbert Calahan died as a result of injuries he sustained in the collision.

The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office swiftly reacted to a collision between an RV and a pedestrian that occurred on Noel C. Conway Road, right in front of South Effingham High School, around 9:05 p.m. on Friday.
