On June 22, 2012, he was traded to Carolina. On July 1, 2012, he signed a 10-year, $60 million contract with Storm. In December 2018, he joined LTIR. (LTIR). Five goals and six assists in 27 games before he got injured. He returned on February 23, 2019, but lost in the Eastern Conference Finals. The date is April 12, 2021.
