Dr. Ir. Gianto Widjaja serves as a Director of PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk since May 15, 2008. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering in 1973, a Masters degree in 1975 and a Doctorate degree in 1978 from Hochschule Darmstadt University, Germany. During 2015, he attended 1st Indonesian Conference on Governance and Sustainability held by The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance, Komite Nasional Kebijakan Governance, SWA Magazine and Financial Services Authority (OJK).
