Free fishing classes kicked off Tuesday in East Moline.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is offering Free Fishing clinics every Tuesday for about a month.
Teachers are giving short classes on the basics of fishing, including rules and regulations and how to handle different types of fish.
Kids ages 16 and younger can attend those classes. They give students a rod, reel, bait and tackle.
The catch and release fishing runs for 90 minutes.
