However, he got another chance to live life in a fantasy world but was sent to the dark forest by mistake. Not knowing the position he was in, he decided to get to work and started building his new life with the magic tool he was bestowed.

Farming Life in Another World Episode 4 had new elves in the forest and made the family of the village bigger. Hiraku wanted to get a lot done before winter approached. And one of his biggest concerns was getting water reservoirs for the crops so they could produce food stock in advance. As a bonus, Zanbuton got him a bee nest that would help them get honey in the coming days.

Honey is also used as a preservative, but the episode didn’t talk about that because Hiraku had lots of ideas about water. Hiraku, unlike the elves, couldn’t use magic to cleanse whenever he needed to. But now that he had access to water, he decided to make himself an onsen and get his fatigue out of the way by the end of the day.

It also helps that the Dark forest was uninhabited for a long time because it means that the place has fertile land ripe for growing crops. The extent of Hiraku’s preparation will be tested as he will be facing winter for the first time in this world.

So far, he had been able to get by fine with the help of his new companions. He has yet to learn why the elves have gravitated and that they want more than just food and security from him. One of his pets realizes this, but he can’t talk.
