Fans React To The End Of Naruto Shippuden

Today, fans around the world bid goodbye to one of the most popular anime series of all-time. Naruto Shippuden aired its last episode today after more than a decade on air. The action series was the highly successful sequel to the original Naruto anime which premiered back in 2002. And, after all of these years, Naruto Uzumaki finally said goodbye to all of his fans in one poignant episode.

Ending on its 500th episode, Naruto Shippuden wrapped up by following its titular hero as he prepared to get married. The loudmouth ninja fans grew to love was seen in a more adult light as he prepared to exchange vows with Hinata Hyuga, a girl who loved Naruto since they were children. The touching story caught up with all of Konoha's biggest ninja as they helped get the wedding ceremony ready to go - and Sasuke even made an appearance to everyone's surprise.

Of course, fans have a lot to say about the show's finale - and ComicBook wants to help you through the grieving process. The loss of Naruto is one which many are feeling keenly, but there is still joy (and humor) to find in its ending. With a spin-off anime set to air next month, the Naruto franchise is far from over, but it will now shift its focus on a new slate of characters.

So, for now, let's honor everything Konoha's knuckle-headed ninja gave to us fans over the years. Believe it!
