It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erin Moseley, who held the coveted position of Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
As part of her leadership, she was responsible for overseeing a variety of endeavors, both local and foreign, including new aeronautical projects that were part of Lockheed Martin’s portfolio.
To this day, the circumstances behind her untimely passing are unknown and shrouded in mystery.
Throughout her career, Ms. Moseley has held major positions in several different fields, including defense and strategic advisory.
The most notable of her posts within the United States government was that of Special Advisor to the Deputy Director of the United States Arms Control and Disarmament Agency.
Prior to her prominent work at Lockheed Martin, she had a number of other pivotal positions within the government.
Her ability to strategize was a defining characteristic of her time spent working at Lockheed Martin. She was the driving force behind the acquisition of new businesses within the Aeronautics division, which is a domain that encompasses unmanned systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance platforms, air mobility, and cutting-edge fifth-generation tactical aircraft.
Furthermore, Ms. Moseley was in charge of the Advanced Development Programs at the famed Skunk Works® facility that is owned and operated by Lockheed Martin.
Ms. Moseley was a highly respected employee at Inglee, Sauer, Moseley (ISM) Strategies and BAE Systems, Inc. prior to her employment at Lockheed Martin.
Particularly noteworthy is the fact that she oversaw the $3.2 billion Support Solutions sector of BAE Systems, where she was responsible for coordinating the improvement, maintenance, and extension of defense products and services.
In addition, she held leadership positions at General Dynamics, where she made substantial contributions to the development of combat systems and government relations.
Equally noteworthy were the academic achievements that Ms. Moseley had achieved. After completing her undergraduate studies at Azusa Pacific University, where she earned degrees in both Political Science and International Relations, she went on to earn a master’s degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University.
Additionally, she graduated from Harvard University with a diploma in Nuclear Deterrence Management.
