Eric N. Vincent serves as Non-Executive Director of the Company. Eric has strong links in the North American capital markets and joins the Board as a nominee of Electrum Strategic Opportunities Fund II LP (“Electrum”), the US-based investment fund holding approximately 9.95% equity completed in November 2019. in the Company following the $8.0million share placement Electrum is managed by The Electrum Group LLC (“Electrum Group”), a US-based precious metals investment manager with deep geological, technical and operational expertise focused on strategic investments in highly prospective exploration and development assets located in geopolitically stable jurisdictions. Eric Vincent is the President of Sarissa Capital, a healthcare-focused activist investment firm. Most recently, Eric served as the Head of Business Development at Mubadala Capital, the financial investment arm of the sovereign wealth firm Mubadala Investment Company. From 2012 through 2017, Eric was Chief Executive Officer of Electrum Group. Eric previously served as President of Ospraie Management, an investment firm focused on commodities and basic industries. From 2007 through October 2009, Vincent served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Managed Funds Association, the leading trade association representing the US hedge fund industry. He began his career as an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College. Eric was previously a member of the Global Markets Advisory Committee of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission and a member of the Investor Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
