Delta Flight Attendant and Gospel Singer- Bobbi Storm was almost thrown off a flight for singing
The popular Gospel singer – Bobbi Storm, recently made the headlines when she was affronted on the plane by a flight attendant for intrusion.
Bobbi Storm, upon finding out that she’d been nominated for the Grammys, announced to her fellow passengers on the plane of her milestone and struck a melody that reverberated across the crowd with an unmatched electricity.
However, her revelation that ensued in an entertaining performance was not taken well by a flight attendant.
What happened between the Delta Flight attendant and Gospel singer Bobbi Storm?
Bobbi Storm was admonished to stop her performance midway. The gas pedal that was released to celebrate her success was quite immediately made to pull the brakes on. Storm may be seen on video interacting with the flight attendant who first urged her to sit down.
He said, “Are you going to be quiet?”
“But they’re having a good time, so while we’re sitting here, could I please?”…” Storm reacts.
“I’m not having fun. So I’m pleading, “Can you please be quiet?”
She discreetly sang a song for the other passengers as soon as he left.
Storm shared a video of the meeting on social media, where she received both acclaim and criticism. Some believe she deserved the opportunity to sing, while others believe she was disruptive.

Views on the Gospel Singer being chastised in a public setting
Bobbi Storm, a gospel singer, was threatened with ejection from a Delta Air Lines flight if she did not obey the flight attendant’s request to stay quiet.
“I’ve gotten to the next status, so —” “Are you able to be quiet?” “But they’re having fun.” So while we’re sitting here, could I please?” “I’m not having fun. So I’m pleading, that if you are unable to follow my directions, you will not be able to board this flight.”
The reproach was not taken well by most of the singer’s fans on social media. It was a harmless celebration of a personal achievement that served to entertain a crowd in its wake was the view that was adopted by her fans.
She was threatened with ejection from a Delta Air Lines flight after refusing to stop singing because she was “doing what the Lord” commanded her to do.
Bobbi Storm, the singer, shared a video on social media showing herself and a flight attendant quietly disagreeing because Ms. Storm wanted to sing on the plane before takeoff and the flight attendant wanted her to stay quiet.
Ms Storm’s four-minute video was panned online by others who accused her of being disruptive.
Others, however, praised it, prompting Ms. Storm to publish two further videos describing what had transpired and why she had chosen to sing. It was unclear when the flight took place, where it began, or where it was headed.
“We talk on phones, we talk to neighbours, we yell across the plane,” Ms. Storm said in one video. “What’s the problem with asking people and them giving me the go, to share something that I’m proud of, something that God has done for me, with the rest of the world?”
The plane footage begins with Ms. Storm walking back to her seat after the flight attendant, who is not identified, requests her to do so.
Does the argument between the flight attendant and Storm end on a good note?
Ms. Storm then takes a seat and faces the aisle, informing passengers that she has been nominated for two Grammy Awards.
She has not been nominated individually, however, she has performed with Maverick City Music, which has been nominated for Best Gospel Album and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
On Monday, the trio did not immediately react to a request for comment after winning four Grammy Awards in 2023.
As Ms. Storm speaks to the other passengers from her seat in the flight video, the flight attendant approaches her row and asks, “Are you able to be quiet?”
Following a lengthy argument, the flight attendant informs Ms. Storm, “If you are unable to follow my instructions, you will not be taking this flight.”
“If that’s the case, then fine,” Ms. Storm says.
Ms. Storm softly sings her new hit, “We Can’t Forget Him,” to passengers after the flight attendant walks away, and the flight attendant does not intervene.
Delta said in a statement that it had spoken with Ms. Storm. “For the safety of our customers and crew, it’s always important to follow crew instructions,” the company stated in a statement.
Ms Storm stated in one of the social media videos that she had previously sung on several planes and that God had called her to perform on this most recent one. She stated that the flight had boarded, begun taxiing, and then returned to the gate due to a maintenance issue.
“It was time for me to follow through with my mission,” she said as the jet returned to the gate, and she began to sing.
