Dark Souls 3 Officially Announced

Praise the sun!  Fans at E3 were treated to the first look at Dark Souls 3 at the Microsoft Press Briefing.  There were many rumors including a leak last week for the game, but nothing concrete till now.

The new announcement came in the form of a trailer.  Dark Souls 3 looks to be returning to Drangliec, but more ashen and dark.  Locations such as a castle and a field of ash were shown, but only in the form of a cutscene.  New enemies including a towering enemy with a sword (a possible boss perhaps?) were shown off as well.

No release date was given, but expect to hear more soon on Dark Souls 3 in the coming days.
