Indian actress, model, and dancer Daisy Shah is known for working majorly in Bollywood and Kannada movies. She was born on 25th August 1984, in Maharashtra in a Gujarati family. Initially, she started working as an assistant to famous Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya in several films. Later, she started modelling and did many photoshoots and print ads. It was then that she was approached for acting. She made her first acting debut with the 2010 Malayalam film, Vandae Maatharam. However, she was majorly seen in item songs in Kannada movies. Later in 2010, she entered Bollywood in a special song from the film, Khuda Kasam. Her first film as a lead actor was the 2011 Kannada film Bhadra followed by Bodyguard and Gajendra. Later in 2014, she made her acting debut in Bollywood with Jai Ho opposite actor Salman Khan. Her next films include Hate Story 3, Ramratan, and Race 3. She also made her debut in the Gujarati film industry and was seen in Gujarat 11. Apart from acting, Daisy is also a fantastic dancer and has assisted in several dance songs in the industry. She worked under Ganesh Acharya for almost 3 years before getting into acting.
