Congressional candidate Christina Bohannan meets with QCA farmers about Farm Bill
A candidate for Congress in Iowa met with farmers to hear their concerns about the Farm Bill.
Christina Bohannan held a roundtable discussion in Walcott. The Farm Bill expired last September, but Congress extended the terms as part of the continuing resolutions with plans to pass a new bill this September. The Farm Bill’s provisions include providing loans for farmers and disaster relief. Bohannan says getting farmers help they need is a top priority for her.
Bohannan ran for Congress in 2022 and lost to Mariannette Miller-Meeks.
