Chainsaw Man’s Denji & Power Are Adorable in Hilarious New Fanart

New fan art for Chainsaw Man features the dynamic duo of Denji and Power. Each of these characters has become a fan favorite since the manga’s debut and their fans have only grown with the recent anime adaptation. Their friendship has captured hearts and fan can’t seem to get enough of it, as seen through the huge amount of art being shared on social media.

Created by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man began serialization in 2018. Since then, it has spanned twelve volumes and released over one hundred chapters. The anime adaptation produced by MAPPA began airing in October 2022 and just had its first season finale in December. Both iterations of Chainsaw Man’s story have been popular amongst anime and manga fans, leading to a major increase in fan art – especially for Denji and Power.

On Twitter, @lazynico shared fan art featuring Denji and Power. Denji is a human-devil hybrid thanks to a life-saving merge with his former beloved devil companion, Pochita. Power is a Fiend, meaning her body has been taken over by a devil. The two work together as part of Public Safety, hunting down devils who are disturbing the peace. While Denji was hesitant about teaming up with Power when they first met, the two became quick friends. Their friendship has now become the centerpiece of several works of fan art, as have other characters in the series as @lazynico often shares fan art of the Angel Devil.

Denji and Power Have a Fabulous Dynamic in New Fan Art

@lazynico’s art features Denji and Power in their Public Safety uniforms, with Power wearing a pair of glasses and Denji holding an axe between his teeth. The caption within the piece reads: “Think twice? Bestie I don’t even think once.” This art is adorable and hilarious, perfectly capturing how both are willing to stroll directly into danger to get their job done. Given the glasses and Denji’s ax, this fanart appears to take inspiration from Denji and Power taking an intellectual approach to their training with Kishibe. Unfortunately, as the fanart points out, brains were never these heroes’ strong suit. Both are destructive forces to face and neither Chainsaw Man character can be described as being strategic thinkers compared to some of their other acquaintances. Denji is known for being able to obey, while Power’s debut shows her following the scent of a devil without any hesitation or planning involved.

Chainsaw Man fans have multiple ways of viewing Denji and Power’s relationship, but this is certainly one of the most wholesome iterations of it. While some readers and viewers have viewed the two platonically as best friends, there have also been sibling takes on the pair, and others ship them as a romantic pairing. Regardless of their official relationship with one another, it’s true that Denji and Power are a hilarious and amazing duo. They play off of each other well in battle and have a lot in common with one another, making it easy for them to relate to each other. No matter what their relationship ultimately ends up being, Chainsaw Man’s Denji and Power are likely to remain fan favorites and star in more fan art.
