Casey's is not a Drive Thru

UPDATE:

A truck hit a gas station in Davenport this morning leaving a hole in the building.

It happened around 9:30 Thursday mroning at the Casey’s General Store off Highway 61 on the city’s west side. It is near the Lake Canyada Moblie Home Park. The driver says the brakes on her truck went out which caused the crash. Fortunately no one was injured. Police are still investigating.

The Casey’s at Lake Canyada is going to need a little fixing up after a crash Thursday morning.

Around 9:30 a pickup truck hit the convenience store, smashing a large hole through the bricks and breaking a window.

No word on what caused the crash or any injuries at this time.
