A deadly crash that occurred in southeast Lincoln on Tuesday night is being looked into by the Lincoln Police Department.
According to reports, around 6 p.m., there was a report of an SUV and a motorcycle crash near the junction of 70th Street and Nebraska Parkway. Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue arrived to the scene.
According to LPD, as soon as the officers arrived, they started administering life-saving measures to the motorcyclist who had been flung from his bike. Officers kept administering life-saving interventions until LFR showed up.
The man, 21, who was riding a motorbike, was transferred to a nearby hospital and later declared deceased.
While the LPD finishes its investigation, the intersection of S. 70th Street and Nebraska Parkway will be closed for a few hours.
