Bowl-A-Thon supports Junior Achievement | OurQuadCities

The annual Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon continued Saturday in the Quad Cities.

The biggest fundraiser of the year for the organization was held at bowling alleys across the Quad Cities.

The event raised more than $140,000.

Our Quad Cities News spoke with President and CEO of Junior Achievement Dougal Nelson, who said the event gives the community an opportunity to help enrich a student’s life, and help them learn about financial issues and learn career readiness skills.
