In the past few weeks, delays have been announced to the likes of NieR: Automata, Spy Classroom, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Ayakashi Triangle, and now, Bofuri.

Bofuri season 2 episode 7 broadcast delayed
Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defence season 2 episode 7 was originally meant to premiere on Wednesday, February 22.
Unfortunately, the anime series’ official website has confirmed that the broadcast of the new episode for domestic audiences in Japan will be delayed due to the rising cases of coronavirus.
As new anime does not release on streaming platforms until the domestic broadcast has concluded, Bofuri season 2 episode 7 will also be postponed on Crunchyroll.
“Thank you very much for your continued support of the TV animation ‘I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defence 2’. This program has been delayed in its video production schedule since the end of last year due to the spread of the new coronavirus “COVID-19” in China. Although we have been working to deliver the program as originally scheduled, we have decided to postpone the broadcast and distribution of the program.”
The series will now run re-broadcasts of season 2 episode 1 on February 22 and episode 2 on March 1.
“We apologize for any inconvenience and concern this may cause to those who have been looking forward to the work. We respectfully ask for your understanding.”
What date will Bofuri season 2 episode 7 now release?
Thankfully, the announcement did confirm that Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defence season 2 episode 7 will now release on Wednesday, March 8.
The new episode will premiere on Crunchyroll at the following international times:
- Pacific Time – 8:30 AM
- Eastern Time – 11:30 AM
- British Time – 4:30 PM
- European Time – 5:30 PM
- India Time – 10 PM
- Philippine Time – 12:30 AM
A preview synopsis will be shared a few days before the anime series’ resumption on March 8.
How many episodes are left in season 2?
Season 2 of the Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defence anime will include 12 total episodes.
However, fans should note that the announcement confirming the delay to episode 7 also revealed that the premiere of episodes 11 and 12 are yet to be decided – citing “The broadcast and distribution schedule for episodes 11 and 12 will be announced later on the official anime website and official Twitter.”
