Bhediya is a Bollywood film about a man named Bhaskar, played by Varun Dhawan, who is a road contractor working for Bagga, played by Saurabh Shukla. Bhaskar is assigned to construct a road through the jungle in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, and is accompanied by his cousin Janardan, played by Abhishek Banerjee, and a local resident named Jomin, played by Paalin Kabaak. They meet Panda, played by Deepak Dobriyal, who assists them in their mission. However, they encounter opposition from the tribals who are unwilling to give up their land and let the trees be cut. Bhaskar manages to win over the younger generation and through them, convinces the older generation. While returning to his guest house one night, Bhaskar is attacked by a wolf and bitten on his rear side. He is taken to a veterinary doctor named Anika, played by Kriti Sanon, who is frightened to treat a human patient. She gives him a painkiller injection, and the next day, Bhaskar's wound has vanished. Bhaskar finds that his body is undergoing certain transformations. He discovers that he can sense, hear and smell much better than before, but he doesn't understand what's happening to him. In the meantime, Prakash, who works with Bhaskar and has the signed agreements, is killed by the wolf, and the agreements go missing. Janardan and Jomin begin to suspect that Bhaskar may be responsible for the murder and fear for their safety. Jana and Jomin conduct a secret stool test on Bhaskar, which reveals that there were traces of human bones present. It turns out that Bhaskar is responsible for the recent killings, as he confesses to them that he has been transforming into a werewolf every night since he was bitten by a wolf. The film follows Bhaskar's transformation into a werewolf and his attempts to control his animalistic instincts. It is a tale of love, fear, and sacrifice set against the backdrop of the jungle in Arunachal Pradesh.
