I think the names that signify prestige as the best, such as Wrestlemania, Starrcade and Bound For Glory. They indicate that this is where the big matches happen, where the quality gets turned up a notch and that you are in for something special.

I always liked Backlash, where it points out that the fallout from WM there, and I think the name shows that well.

Judgement Day, Unforgiven and Armageddon all work as well. They say to me that a major feud is going to be decided, where carnage is going to take place, and indicate the importance of the show.

One of the best is King Of The Ring. It works perfectly, as the tournament crowns a new king, and having a title like that gives a major boost to the wrestler that wins in. King means royalty, and you get to see new wrestling royalty crowned at this ppv.

St Valentines Day Massacre was only ever used once, but it was AWESOME. Taking place on the most romantic day of the year, the name is a complete contrast to the lovey-dovey feel of the day, showing that the violence is going to come. I think that was brilliant.

However,my favourite name is from a WWA show I saw years ago. INCEPTION (which means "beginning"). It was their first ever show, and the word itself sounds cool, and works perfectly.
