Ashley Peppers and Christian Trattles Obituary: Lubbock 3-year-old and two adults killed in Saturday afternoon crash on US 82 west of Guthrie.
A collision on US 82, about five miles west of Guthrie, on Saturday afternoon claimed the lives of a three-year-old child from Lubbock and two other people.
Christian Trattles, 32, drove into the shoulder of the road while traveling west, according to the crash investigation report. Trattles tried to turn to the left, crossed into the eastbound lane from the westbound lane, and hit a pickup truck pulling a trailer.
Ashley Peppers, 27, and the toddler, who was traveling with Trattles, both died in the collision.
Michael Dunn, the pickup truck’s driver, was sent to UMC for treatment after suffering moderate injuries.
Investigation is ongoing.
