Amazon Prime Releases New Dub Cast for Evangelion Rebuild Films
Amazon Prime Video is listing a new English dub cast for the Neon Genesis Evangelion Rebuild films. This includes movies such as 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone, 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance, and 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo. Even though the dub option is available for the films, they are only available in Japanese with closed-captioned subtitles on Amazon Prime.
Additional cast members can be found on the listing for the Neon Genesis Evangelion Rebuild films on Amazon. Also, for this time, Dubbing Brothers USA produced the dub with Joe Friaa as the director. The English for the cast includes:

- Spike Spencer as Shinji Ikari
- Allison Keith-Shipp as Misato Katsuragi
- John Swasey as Gendoh Ikari
- Tiffany Grant as Asuka Langley-Shikinami

Many Versions of the Evangelion Rebuild Films
Many have noticed that the dub cast members are different than Funimation’s previous dubbing of Evangelion Rebuild films. But, some of the cast members are also returning to roles from the English dub of the original television series.
Netflix’s prior release of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and the two accompanying films (Death and Rebirth and The End of Evangelion), also had a new English dub cast. The series and the films are still available on the platform and have been since 2019.
Amazon Prime Video is already streaming all of the Evangelion Rebuild films in over 240 countries. Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone, 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance, and 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo are adjusted versions of the previously released films. At the same time, Funimation has also released new versions on home video and for streaming.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon A Time is said to be a new version of the final film. It will stream worldwide on Prime Video on August 13 with 10 available languages (including English, French, and German). The film is also releasing in the original Japanese with subtitles in over 28 languages.
While there is no one right dubbing version to watching the film, many fans have already started their preferences. Most, however, have just decided to play it safe and stick to the original Japanese with English subtitles.
