Alex Guarnaschelli And Michael Castellon Have Split After Being Together For 5 Years

According to Closer’s exclusive source, Chopped judge Alex Guarnaschelli and fiancé Michael Castellon have split, calling it a split after five years of engagement. After they split, Michael told Closer, “I wish her all the best.” Alex met Guy’s Grocery Games participant over dinner at the restaurant where she works. 4 years after starting dating, judge Shaggy and the chef got engaged in June 2020.

The couple dated for four years before getting engaged in June 2020. Judge Chopped shared a photo of the emerald ring on Instagram with the caption:

In a 2000 interview with People, Judge Chopped said that they were in no hurry to get married but that she was looking forward to a big celebration:

She also talked about how her ex-boyfriend, Michael Castellon, proposed to her. She explained how he took advantage of her gullibility to make a surprise marriage proposal:

When they went looking for the newborn deer, Castellon suggested that:

Guarnascheeli was previously married to Brandon Clark, with whom she has a 12-year-old daughter named Ava. Judge Chopped also revealed to People that Castellon asked Ava’s permission before marrying her mother. She also expressed her excitement to be paired with Castellon in an Instagram post about how much she misses her father. She stated:

“I lost my father two years ago. He will be happy to see this. (Mike) said he would ask permission. I’m not sure my dad ever said “OK” to anyone! He would be proud of Mike for asking. All I want to say is that I miss my father. We have all suffered loss, and this is a happy time that I share with my father’s memories.”

Guarnaschelli responded to a fan question on her Instagram story about a skill or ability she wishes he had by saying:

“I’m not a lunatic.” Judge Chopped later answered another question about any regrets she might have. She stated:

“Some of my worst regrets have happened in the past few years.” Honestly, I haven’t been able to absorb all of them gracefully or effectively. For recovery, I use cooking, counseling, exercise, friends, sleep, water, time, tears, and cakes.” Alex has yet to comment on the story and has yet to make an official statement on their own social media profiles.
