10 people saved in a river rescue at the Wapsi River

A river rescue at the Wapsi River in Long Grove right at the border of Scott and Clinton County took place. Local 4 News was the only station at the scene. It happened just after 8:00 PM.

Authorities tell Local 4 News that 10 people were out tubing in the river and got stuck about seven miles from the bridge at Veterans Way. All 10 people were safely rescued.
